There’s not much to say about marble except that it’s a refined and elegant choice for pretty much everything, including kitchen flooring, countertops and even furniture. You can’t really go wrong with marble flooring in your kitchen as long as you don’t go overboard with the idea. Matching the flooring to a lot of other features can ruin the beauty. Marble has unique patterns and no two blocks or tiles look the same so you can be certain that your design is special.

If you want to save some space, you can just go for a longer or wider kitchen island and use the additional length or width or eating. It’s very smart and you won’t need to buy additional furniture – just a couple of stools. The eating zone may be the continuation of the kitchen island or may be made of some different material to highlight and separate it. The eating space can be raised to a different height for comfort.
