Black, white, navy, emerald, orange, mint or any other color is welcome, it depends on the look you want, and on the style you’ve chosen. For modern spaces more vivid contrasts are better: black and light-colored wood, wood and white, mint and dark-stained wood and so on. For vintage spaces prefer pastels and off-whites and rich wood tones.
Orange is a very bold color, which isn’t as compatible as neutrals or dark shades. It can be a bit difficult for matching but you can go for neutrals, black or grey, which is always a win-win color scheme. Looking for something different? Try orange and shades of blue like cobalt or teal, or boldly rock it with eggplant purple. Let me share some ideas how to rock this color in your kitchen, they are sure to cheer you up and raise your mood.
Kitchen cabinets are the basis, this is the focal point of any kitchen, they create an ambience and change everything. Choosing your kitchen cabinets will define your kitchen design, so keep them in the style you want. Black or brown wooden cabinets with a sleek design and no handles, black metal cabinets are ideal for a modern kitchen. If you think that dark cabinets are too gloomy, rock light-colored wooden ones with a black tile backsplash. You can also try teal, dark grey and brown and some contrasting countertops and a backsplash.
Such kitchens are created to play with colors and contrasts, so don’t hesitate to choose the colors you like! Red and white, navy and white, emerald and gold, grey and white, black and white – there are thousands of combos to try! I’d say that the most popular combo is white and some shade of grey – if grey is dark, you’ll get a cool contrast, if grey is light – you’ll get an ethereal space.
